1. Self Scanning

Before you plan any routine for yourself. Sit down with a pen and paper and introspect over some of the large aspects of your life. Find out what works for you.

People would recommend you different things to adhere to, but you need to discover what serves best for you. Do not burden yourself with following someone else’s routine. Make modifications according to your lifestyle.

Know yourself. It is a prerequisite to look within and find out what are you looking for. Jot down your strengths and weaknesses and consider, how your strengths or weaknesses are going to alter your routine.

Be kind to yourself. If you feel, your weaknesses are going to affect your routine, then make a roadmap that how you would deal with them. Don’t be harsh on yourself. Give time to yourself to adapt and make adjustments to the new routine.

Set the intention. Before you plan for any task, have obvious intention and clarity over your goals, why you want to achieve this and set an appropriate timeline to accomplish them.

Don’t expect an overnight turnaround. Rome wasn’t built in a day. To get success in any task that you undertake will demand persistence and necessary efforts. Be consistent and don’t forget to make necessary modifications as and when requires.

Be mindful. Most of the time we tend to focus on results or we speculate things. It is important to stay focused and remain fully engaged in the present. This will save your energy and time to finish any task.

2. Clarity on Priorities

You need to have well-defined and well-established priorities. Don’t tone with everything that comes your way. Learn to express “YES and “NO” unapologetically as and when it is called for. Let people value your schedule. Don’t bother about how people would judge you. Let them judge. The most important is you and your life goals.

If your priorities are not arrayed, you will end up doing everything which may or may not be important or aligned with your life goals.

Know your tribe with whom you can vibe. It is also important to hang out with like-minded people who would add value to your life and that will help you stay inspired, focused, and stick to your routine. They will also help you to come out of your comfort zone and achieve extra.
